Momma Uk is a group of Black professional therapist, mentors and holistic practitioners, passionate about mental health, wellbeing, and happiness.

Throughout the years, their business has grown but their focus has always remained consistent; Momma Uk is here to help Black people identify mental health, triggers, and support needs. We aim to improve mental health through custom made plans, holistic approaches, self management, self awareness, participation in group activities and counselling.

Personalising Our Care Services

Momma Uk is a professional agency of qualified mental health practitioners that represent the Black community. We have seen the disproportionate health effects suffered by Black people during the Covid and this has highlighted the fact that we need sensitive care packages were individuals can recognise themselves, their cultural practices and their identity through seeing people like them delivering services of support.

Social support provided can be emotional (providing empathy and care), instrumental (helping with practical tasks), informational (providing advice), and appraisive (offering feedback and reflection).
